About the South of France
With its moderate breezes, guaranteed sunshine, and numerous protected anchorages the French Riviera is a sailors paradise. This is the land of sunshine and dreamy summer afternoons, glittering azure waters, lively resorts and island hideaways, all basking contentedly beneath a benevolent summer-long sun.
The south of France is renowned for its chic and sophisticated villages; with their designer boutiques, gourmet restaurants and world famous casinos. From the fashionable beaches of St. Tropez to the glamorous promenades of Cannes, or further on to the exquisite Palaces of Monaco, that unmistakable Riviera atmosphere abounds.
Idyllic bays such as Villefranche-sur-Mer with hilltop medieval villages and awe-inspiring views, or Porquerolle islands with crystal clear waters and almost tropical sandy white beaches, make it abundantly clear that there are few coastlines to rival this exclusive yachting paradise. |
